What age is Mirror Mantras® for?
Kids ages 4–10. Younger children often need a grown-up to press play. Older kids can usually do it on their own.
Will my 9- or 10-year-old think it's too young for them?
The narrators speak to kids, not down to them. This is also the age when comparison tends to kick in, which makes a daily Mirror Mantra especially valuable.
Does my child need to know how to read?
No. Your child presses a button and hears the Mirror Mantra read aloud, then repeats it. If your child isn't speaking yet or prefers to listen, they can simply hear the words while looking in the mirror. That still counts.
How much time does it take?
Just a few minutes. Many families make it part of getting ready in the morning or winding down at bedtime.
What if my child feels silly talking to the mirror?
That's completely normal at first. Try saying the Mirror Mantra together a few times. Most kids warm up quickly once it becomes routine.
What if we miss a day?
No problem. Just pick up where you left off. Consistency helps, but there's no such thing as falling behind.
What do I need to use it?
A mirror and the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app, which works on phones, tablets, and computers. Other PDF viewers may not play the audio.
Is it a one-time purchase? Can siblings share it?
Yes, it's a one-time purchase, yours to keep forever. Siblings are welcome to share the same e-book and avatar. If you'd like a different avatar for each child, you can purchase an additional copy.
What happens after 30 days?
By then, the practice is becoming part of their routine. Your child can revisit their favorite Mirror Mantras or start again from Day 1. Volume 1 is just the beginning, and new volumes are on the way.
Can educators and counselors use it with groups?
Absolutely. Educators, counselors, and youth leaders are encouraged to use Mirror Mantras® with groups.
Is Mirror Mantras® religious?
No, it isn't tied to any religion. Some Mirror Mantras mention God, and families are welcome to make the words their own in a way that fits their beliefs.
Is this a replacement for counseling or therapy?
